Battle of Ontario

 

 

 

The Battle of Ontario will take place November 19 and 20, 2024 in Smiths Falls, Ontario.

The state of the art Memorial Community Centre and will play host to a tournament that features two All Star teams from the OJHL and two All Star teams from the CCHL.  Additionally, two Prospects teams from both the OJHL and CCHL will participate in a showcase event at the same time.

Scouts from the hockey community including the NHL, NCAA, U-Sport, OHL, will converge on Smith Falls for the Battle of Ontario.  The event will be a great opportunity for them to see best on best action of the top players in both leagues and promises to showcase the best talent in Provincial Junior A Hockey.

Additionally, this event is an important step for players in their selection as a member of Team Canada East who will be preparing to participate in the World Junior A Championship in early December 2024.

The All Star teams will participate in an 8 game series which will determine a champion of the event.  The Prospects teams will participate in 4 game showcase during the event over the two days.

Games will be modified to two periods of stop time.  Hockey Canada rules will be in effect for the event.  More information on rules and the event will follow.
