FREEZING RAIN FORCES RESCHEDULING OF GAMES IN TRENTON, MINDEN AND STOUFFVILLE

Freezing rain in some areas of Southern Ontario have forced postponements of games in the Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs this weekend:

  • Saturday’s game between the Haliburton County Huskies and Toronto Jr. Canadiens in Minden has been postponed until Sunday, March 30, at 3 p.m.

The Jr. Canadiens lead the best-of-seven series two games to one.

  • Friday’s game in Trenton between the host Golden Hawks and Stouffville Spirit has been rescheduled for Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in Trenton.
  • If necessary, the next game in the series, which was scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Stouffville, would be played Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the Stouffville Arena.

Trenton leads three games to one.
