Marty started with the OJHL as the league’s first full time Commissioner in July of 2009 and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Canadian Junior Hockey League.  Marty was employed by Hockey Canada for 10 years where he served as the General Manager for Hockey Canada’s 5 regional Centres of Excellence.  During his time with Hockey Canada Marty was a member of several National and Provincial committees.  Marty also served as a Team Leader for a number of World Junior Championship Evaluation Camps and was the Team Leader for the 2002 Team Canada Men’s World Championship Team.  Marty also traveled throughout Ontario with the Canadian Men’s and Women’s National Teams while at Hockey Canada conducting local player and coach’s clinics with National team players and coaches.  Marty’s other hockey experience includes a year as the Video Coordination for the Calgary Flames and a year as an Assistant Coach in the OUA.  Marty’s other work experience includes working in the Regional Marketing Department of TDL (Tim Hortons) and three years as a Director of Business Development / Marketing and Communications for a mobile content company.  In 2019 Marty was awarded the Vern Neal Volunteer of the Year Award by the Burlington Girls Hockey Club for his long-term service the Barracuda organization.  Marty also received the 2002 Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal and in 1999 received a Recognition Award from the Ontario Hockey Federation for Outstanding Contributions in Hockey Development.

Rick has been with the OJHL since 2016 as Director of Business Development and Events and was recently promoted to Vice President of Business Operations. Prior to that he was Executive Director of the Canadian Junior Hockey League for 3 seasons starting in 2014.  In addition to these responsibilities Rick is also the Executive Director of the OJHL Foundation and serves on several OJHL Committees. Rick has an extensive back-ground in the sporting industry with over 30 years of experience with past employment including; Hockey Canada Manager Ontario Centre of Excellence, Ontario University Athletics Executive Director, Professional Hockey Players Association’s Director of Player Relations, Canadian Junior Hockey League Executive Director and Managing Director of the Niagara Falls International Marathon. Rick competed for the Italian National team in a number of World Championships and at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville France.  Rick has experience coaching university level hockey as well as girls minor hockey association levels.  Rick has been honoured by the Cities of Niagara Falls and Fort Erie on their Sports Wall of Fame as an Athlete and Team Member respectively.

Chris Vanstone moves from the position of Director of Hockey Operations to the Vice-President of Hockey. Chris has an impressive background within the game and has been employed with the OJHL since 2018. Chris serves on a number of OJHL Committees.  Before joining the OJHL Chris severed as General Manager for over ten years within the OJHL with a number of teams and was part of the Management and Coaching staff of the Oakville Blades that represented the OJHL at the 2008 and 2009 National Championships as the Buckland Cup Champions. Chris has served as the Director of Operations for the 2018, 2022 and 2023 Team Canada East at World Junior A Challenge team winning a silver medal in both 2022 and 2023. Chris has previous work experience as a player advisor and has helped over 80 players/clients move on to higher levels of hockey.

Tim is the Director of Photography for OJHL Images and also leads the OJHL's Digital Media initiatives. He plays a key role in developing and expanding OJHL Images and the League's social media content, collaborating with Photoshelter Software Systems. With a wealth of experience as a professional sports photographer, Tim is a proud member of the National Press Photographers Association. He has covered major events, including the NHL Combines, Hockey Night in Canada, World Cup Lacrosse, the CJHL Prospect Game, the World Junior A Challenge, and the Eastern Canada Cup.  He has quickly become a dominant and noted figure in capturing and documenting the essence of athletic performance through his photography. He lives and thrives in the trenches among the sport’s participants and in doing so has become respected by a vast number of the photography community. It’s this inside view, understanding, and commitment to the athletes that enables Tim to consistently create unique photographs that are not only visually stunning, but serve to tell the story.

His photographs have been featured in numerous publications throughout the world.

Director, Player Safety:  Greg Kimmerly

Greg brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the job of Player Safety as a former NHL Referee for 20 years.  He also currently works for Ontario University Athletics in their hockey operations department and is a bonafide officiating coach for both the Ontario Hockey League as well as the International Ice Hockey Federation.  Greg is the Ontario Hockey Federation Referee in Chief and is a welcome addition to the OJHL staff.

Rob joined the OJHL staff in 2011after twenty years of officiating in OHA.  He has served in the position of Director of Officiating and is a liaison for the OJHL and OHA officials.  Rob supports all elements of officiating administration and is a support for OJHL events for their officiating needs. He is a former player who turned to officiating after he finished playing Canadian University hockey in Ontario. Rob has previously coached AAA hockey and serves as a Mentor for the Oshawa Generals Minor Hockey program.  In the summer Rob also serves as Deputy-Umpire in Chief for Canada for the NSA Canada Slo-pitch program.  He looks after all their major events in Ontario as well as various Slo-Pitch events in the Durham Region.

Jim Mason joined the OJHL in 2017.  From 1982-2016, Jim was editor of the Stouffville Sun-Tribune, a Toronto Star community newspaper he helped found. The graduate of Lakehead University also served as the editor of papers in Thunder Bay, Markham and Uxbridge. His column, stories and newspapers received provincial, national and North American awards.  Jim’s volunteer commitments include the Stouffville Terry Fox Run, Whitchurch-Stouffville Emergency Care Fund, Stouffville Spirit Jr. A Hockey Club, Stouffville’s Kids First Fund, St. James Presbyterian Church, Eastern Gate Village and the Stouffville Cares refugee adoption group.   Jim has received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, a Melvin Jones Fellowship from Lions International and the Whitchurch-Stouffville Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year award.

Stefano played in the OJHL from 2014-2017 as a member of the Cobourg Cougars and during that time had some great accomplishments were he won the 2017 RBC Cup National Championship.  He was named MVP of the RBC cup finals. Additionally, he won the goalie of the year award two times as well as the OJHL Humanitarian of the year award for his community service.  Stefano earned an NCAA Division 1 scholarship and attended American International College in the Atlantic Conference where he led his team to 3 conference and 3 league championships making it to the NCAA Elite 16 two times. He was runner up for freshman of the year and won the 2021 AHA Goalie of the year and was on the nominee watch-list for the Mike Richter award. In 2021 he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.  After AIC, he played one year of pro hockey in the SPHL.  Currently, he is the practice goalie for the Toronto Maple Leafs. In addition he has coached in the OJHL during the 2022/2023 season  with the Aurora Tigers and owns his own goaltending development company Durante Goaltending.   He comes to the OJHL as Director of Recruitment where he will promote and recruit players from Canada and the USA.

Jamie joined the OJHL in August 2022 as the Coordinator of Hockey Operations. Previously, she served the role of Basketball Development Intern at the Ontario Basketball Association where she helped plan and coordinate the Summer Development Program and Ontario Summer Games. Additionally, Jamie worked as Summer Associate for the Canadian Gaming Association.  Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Jamie holds a Bachelor of Political Science from Queen’s University and a graduate diploma in Sports Business Management from Humber College.  Jamie is also the Co-Founder of "Save a Childs Heart", Queen's University Chapter as well as the Chair of the Planning Committee "Grads Go Global".
