January 23, 2024 – Mississauga, ON – The Ontario Junior Hockey League announced today that registration for the seventh annual OJHL Combine is now open. The combine will be held May 2-5, 2024 at Joshua’s Creek Arenas in Oakville, ON.
“The OJHL Combine provides players with the opportunity to showcase their talents directly to our 24 clubs,” said Rick Morocco, the OJHL’s Vice-President of Business Operations. “The Combine is a convenient way to get in front of all our teams and experience what the OJHL is all about while catching the eye of teams.”
All 150 skaters and 20 goalies will showcase their skills while playing high-calibre hockey in front of OJHL general managers, coaches and scouts.
The event program also includes seminars, including always-popular sessions presented by College Hockey Inc., the marketing arm of NCAA Division 1 hockey, as well as the OJHL Seminar with the OJHL Director of Recruitment.
Each player will be guaranteed five games with real-time scoring. Players will also receive an event jersey, scout report, an event participation gift and “the OJHL experience with our coaches, trainers, athletic therapists, and photographers.”
OJHL sponsors supporting the league combine weekend include Warrior, Troy Apparel, Hudl-InStat, Baron Rings, Gatorade and College Hockey Inc.
Registration is open to players who think they have what it takes to play in the OJHL in the birth years 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
